WELCOME TO THE VILLAVICIOSA OF THE 18TH CENTURY

In the square of Obdulio Fernández Pando, a model awaits you, inviting you to stop and look back at the old Pola de Maliayo. Created from the parcel map of 1926 by Francisco Casariego and the restitution of 1753 based on the Cadastre of the Marquis of Ensenada, along with other local testimonies, this recreation brings back to life the villa that once was.

Its purpose is simple yet profound: to help residents and visitors reconnect with the memory of the place, to recognize the old streets within the walls, to imagine the passage through its historic gates, and to understand how the outskirts grew around the villa.

A small journey into the past that invites you to feel the history of Villaviciosa closer than ever before.

Session cookies:

Designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are typically used to store information needed only for the provision of a service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g., a list of purchased products).
